Nearly Wild Campsite
Our nearly wild campsite offers a spacious, peaceful haven with both electric, non-electric grass pitches to suit every camper, caravaner, campervaner or motorhomer!
Our facilities offer off grid hot showers and mains toilets, waste disposal, refuse disposal and water.
Campers are invited to enjoy all the wider facilities Kingfishers has to offer, all information around pricing and facilities can be found on our website or at reception which is based in our onsite shop.
Our small campsite offers 4 electric hook ups and 10 non electric pitches with generous space for your tent, caravan, camper or motorhome and car. Additional cars are allowed, if left in our main site car park.
The minimum camping period is 2 nights, except the summer school holiday period (20 July – 30 August) where the minimum camping period is 3 nights. Please note that we also operate a minimum 3 night booking for Bank Holiday weekends.
All bookings are to be made and paid for online in advance. Camping terms and conditions apply.
We are currently operating a self check in system to reduce contact where possible. Our team are onsite to help if you need any help.
Barbecues are allowed as long as they are raised off the ground and contained. This is for safety reasons and also so the grass is not damaged. Only logs purchased from our on-site shop can be burned on-site.
Well behaved, quiet dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead around the campsite and any mess cleared up immediately. There are appropriate dog bins around the site. We allow a maximum of 2 dogs per pitch.

Booking Your Pitch
Bookings from young adults (under 21) must be made directly through us via email or over the phone.
A maximum of 3 pitches may be booked together by any one group. All bookings of 4 or more must be made by telephone or email please contact the team on 01728 685 275 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Kingfishers Day Visitor Attraction
Kingfishers’ Campsite is located within our wider site. If you wish to visit the adventure play park (opening 2022), there is a one-off entry charge which will remain valid for the duration of your stay.
Access to the Park is strictly limited to Kingfishers opening hours. Any access out of hours and without permission will result in your immediate removal from the campsite.
