The Space

Our nearly wild campsite offers a spacious, peaceful haven with both electric, non-electric grass pitches to suit every camper, caravaner, campervaner or motorhomer!

Camping in the meadows here at Kingfishers provides you with a real back to nature experience. Our camp site is set within over beat 20 acres and offers only 11 pitches, 4 are electric with 7 non electric pitches to ensure peace and tranquility for all and protect our beautiful landscape currently being brought back by nature. Our facilities offer an off grid hot shower and a mains toilet, a washing up area, waste disposal, refuse disposal and drinking water and each non-electric pitch comes complete with a picnic bench for your comfort and enjoyment.

Our camping pitch pricing covers one tent or caravan / motorhome per pitch and two people, additional people are charged at £6.50 per night per person, we do not charge for additional awnings. The minimum camping period is 2 nights, except for Bank Holidays and the summer school holiday period (20 July – 31 August) where the minimum camping period is 3 nights.

Barbecues / Fire pits are allowed as long as they are raised off the ground and contained.  We strictly forbid any disposable BBQ’s onsite and there will be a fine of £50 if you are found using a disposable BBQ, these are detrimental to our environment. This is for safety reasons and also so the grass is not damaged.  Only logs purchased from Kingfishers can be burned on-site.

Well behaved, quiet dogs are welcome at an additional charge of £10 however to protect our wildlife ask that dogs are kept on a lead around the site and we ask you to be respectful to all other guests with, there are plentiful bins around the site.  We allow a maximum of 2 dogs per pitch.

Booking Your Pitch

All bookings are to be made and paid for online in advance. Camping Terms & Conditions apply.

Bookings from young adults (under 21) must be made directly through us via email or over the phone.

A maximum of 3 pitches may be booked together by any one group.  All bookings of 4 or more must be made by email, we can also help with ensuring you are placed together given the flexibility we have on our site so please do not hesitate to email us at info@kingfisherscretingham to arrange your stay.
